The thatched farmhouse with monument status, contains an extremely cozy kitchen. The living room with monumental tiles has an unobstructed view of the estate. In early spring, thousands of snowdrops bloom here. The wood stove provides wonderful warmth. With only a little wood, 20 hours of heat can be stored. In the colder months, the living room is the heart of the spacious house. The owners have a great affinity for visual art and this is reflected throughout the house. Your own music can be played through a bluetooth speaker.When the wind is right, the wood-fired pizza oven and griddle can be set up for delicious outdoor cooking.All bedrooms are on the ground floor. The master bedroom has a private bathroom with shower and sink. The second bedroom with also a double bed of 1.60 meters wide, can use the second bathroom with toilet, sink and shower in bath. A study is available.
Nature and surroundings
The 1.5-acre property is part of NSW estate and is also surrounded by nature reserves. With a little luck you can follow deer from every window, see squirrels from the kitchen table and hear the owl calling at night. Many who come here call this the most beautiful place in Twente. The location is fantastic and totally free, and the yard contains several buildings. The former stable has been restored and is permanently occupied. The house to rent in the monumental farm (not yet renovated) has a unique charm and also the most beautiful view. The privacy there is exceptional. For the beauty does not have to leave the yard. But there is also much beauty in the surrounding area. There are many cycling and walking routes. One of the most beautiful golf courses in Twente is 1.5 km away and the lovely town of Delden is 4 km away. There you will also find the heart of Twickel estate, which extends in all directions. Cultural trips can be made to various museums in the area.
