This is the ground floor of our vacation home, which consists of two separate units, each with its own entrance. This unit can accommodate up to 5 adults and one child aged 0–15. It features a living room with an Austrian wood stove, an open kitchen equipped with a 4-burner induction cooktop, a refrigerator, and an oven. There are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. There is ample parking, excellent Wi-Fi reception, and a (shared) laundry room with a washer and dryer. It is located on a quiet cul-de-sac, just a 5-minute walk from the village center (though the walk is steep). Don’t expect luxury, just a cozy, typical Austrian chalet! Please note: Electricity costs will be deducted from the security deposit after your stay. Unfortunately, the house is not wheelchair accessible.
Nature and surroundings
Our house is situated in a quiet, mountainous, and wooded area, close to the crystal-clear Achensee. It’s perfect for families, sports enthusiasts, and those seeking peace and nature—both in summer and winter. The mountains, forests, and water offer plenty of hiking and water fun. The entire area around the Achensee is ideal for forest and mountain hikes in the summer. There are also countless opportunities for mountain bikers. The Achensee is ideal for sailing and windsurfing, and in good weather, it’s also great for swimming—though the water is quite cold. In winter, it’s a fantastic area for winter sports enthusiasts, such as skiers, cross-country skiers, hikers, and more. The ski slope runs down about 25 meters past the Q-alm, and the toboggan run is just 100 meters from the house. In addition to the ski slope in Maurach, which is ideal for beginner skiers, the ski areas of Pertisau and Achenkirch can also be reached quickly via the free ski bus.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €200.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
