Welcome! Staying at the artistic/cultural B&B in my house is a fun adventure. In summer, it's great outdoor living with a tasty breakfast in the Rifu-Giotto. In winter, you'll have a cozy breakfast by the cozy wood stove or with me in the large living kitchen of my adventurous, artistic/cultural B&B. A steep staircase takes you upstairs to the private room with table and one bed. There is a small sink there for brushing teeth. The spacious room next door has a large sink and a double bed. Higher up is the most beautiful little (mini) room that offers a beautiful view of my self-built house that I call the Rifu-Giotto. Here diehearts can cook and sleep on the camper box. The pictures explain this story. Children may build a hut in forest. There are additional opportunities to take English, Dutch or Italian language classes and/or enjoy a puppet theater performance. Upon request please chat for consultation as the 3rd bedroom is not always available.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located on the edge of a tiny village in a rural wooded surrounding between Roden and Paterswolde on the Jacobspad trail. It is beautiful walking along the Peizerdiepje or cycling/running in the wooded surroundings of the Mensinghebos in Roden (the old Stuw), the Noordsche Veld and the Langeloërduinen near Norg. To the north lie the fields of Peizermade through which you can enjoy cycling to the city of Groningen. To the northwest lies the scenic beauty of Nietap and the Leekstermeer. A paradise for bird lovers and nature lovers. The accommodation is in the yard of an artistic, creative, inventive hostess. Unique, friendly, playful atmosphere. The little house is in the woods next to the large garden of the residence. It is quiet here and you are among the birds with rural sounds. The fresco on the back wall of the Rifu-Giotto is by our own hand. Puppet theater performance is possible on request. More information via the chat.
