Welcome! Just outside the fortified town of Nieuwpoort, in the countryside of Langerak, you’ll find a charming and comfortable guest room in the basement of our 100-year-old dike house. With a private entrance, luxurious box-spring beds, and a keen eye for authentic details, you’ll never forget your stay at our estate. Relax on your own terrace, in the garden, or on the sandy beach along the Lek River (200 meters away), where boats pass by regularly. The pantry (next to the guest room) offers coffee and tea-making facilities and information about the surrounding area. Hiking and biking maps are available. Your private bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, toilet, sink, and walk-in shower. We offer a delicious breakfast featuring local products, which will be served in your guest room. Situated in a rural setting on the border of the Alblasserwaard and the Krimpenerwaard, our guesthouse is popular with hikers and cyclists. From our guesthouse, there are various cycling routes available in the Green Heart, varying in length and duration. Consider, for example, a beautiful trip to Kinderdijk, the Biesbosch, or to the fortified towns of Nieuwpoort, Schoonhoven, or Gorinchem. Very nice and neat cottage. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail. Hosts Bas and Pascal were super friendly and made sure we lacked nothing. Breakfast was huge and delicious!
