Nature house in Rekem

We had a very nice time there.

We hebben het er erg fijn gehad.

Our cottage was on the edge of the park and therefore a little closer to the road, street lights, etc. For us this was not a nuisance, in the cottage and garden it is not noticeable. We knew this in advance and found it nice that we could just walk to the supermarket. The park itself was very quiet and surrounded by nature. The communication with the manager was very pleasant and we received all practical information prior to our stay. The cottage is cozy, has nice beds and a wonderful pellet stove.

Ons huisje lag aan de rand van het park en dus wat dichter bij de weg, straatverlichting, etc. Voor ons was dit niet hinderlijk, in het huisje en de tuin is het niet merkbaar. We wisten dit van te voren en vonden het wel prettig dat we even te voet naar de supermarkt konden gaan.
Het park zelf was erg rustig en midden in de natuur.
De communicatie met de beheerder verliep erg prettig en we hebben voorafgaande aan ons verblijf allemaal praktische informatie gekregen.
Het huisje is knus, heeft fijne bedden en een heerlijke pelletkachel.

The cottage was very dirty and poorly cleaned. A cobweb is quickly made and that can be forgiven. The refrigerator closes poorly and is dirty, with the freezer compartment unusable. In addition, all the dishes were not cleaned properly, pasta sauce can still be found in the cutlery drawer. The bathroom is very cold and dries poorly so you can see mold on the kit and grout. This cottage is not recommended with children, the IKEA baby chair was downright gross.

Het huisje was erg vies en slecht schoongemaakt. Een spinnenweb is snel gemaakt en dat is te vergeven. De koelkast sluit slecht en is smerig, waarbij het vriesvak onbruikbaar is. Daarnaast was al het servies niet goed schoongemaakt, de pasta saus is nog terug te vinden in de besteklade. De badkamer is erg koud en droogt slecht waardoor je schimmel op de kit en voegen ziet zitten. Dit huisje is niet aan te raden met kinderen, de IKEA babystoel was ronduit goor te noemen.

Situated among the trees where facilities are within walking distance. Really a nature feeling you do not have because you can see the Jumbo across the street. Behind you do sit nicely among the trees with a nice nature idea.

Ligt tussen de bomen waarbij faciliteiten op loop afstand te bereiken zijn. Echt een natuurgevoel heb je niet want je kunt de Jumbo aan de overkant zien liggen. Achterom zit je wel lekker tussen de bomen met een fijn natuur idee.

Although the location is beautiful and the cottage itself has a lot of potential, the reception was not as we had hoped. We would recommend that the heating be better prepared, more careful checks that everything is clean and a refreshment of the cottage.

Hoewel de locatie prachtig is en het huisje zelf veel potentieel heeft, was de ontvangst niet zoals we hadden gehoopt. We zouden aanraden om de verwarming beter voor te bereiden, zorgvuldiger te controleren of alles goed schoon is en een verfrissing te geven aan het huisje.

We enjoyed the quiet and beautiful location of the cottage, with a spacious garden perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. However, upon arrival the temperature inside was unfortunately only 9 degrees, which was a big disappointment. It took a long time to get the cottage to a comfortable temperature, which was not ideal after a long trip.

We hebben genoten van de rustige en mooie locatie van het huisje, met een ruime tuin die perfect is voor ontspanning en genieten van de natuur.

Echter, bij aankomst was de temperatuur binnen helaas maar 9 graden, wat een grote teleurstelling was. Het duurde lang om het huisje op een aangename temperatuur te krijgen, wat niet ideaal was na een lange reis.
