The waste water is treated in the house's own constructed wetland and electricity is generated by the photovoltaic system on the roof. The wood-burning stove provides pleasant warmth.

The beautiful nature around the Schneebergland is ideal for hiking and cycling and offers plenty of excursion destinations (waterfalls, museums, restaurants, the city of Wiener Neustadt). In summer, the outdoor swimming pool in Gutenstein invites you to visit. In the village kitchen and bowling alley, rainy days can be spent with a cozy coffee and a sporty game of bowling. Skiing is also possible in winter on the Unterberg, at the Quellenwiese and in Rohr im Gebirge. An hour away from Vienna, a longer stay with us can also be combined with a city trip.
