As soon as you drive into "our" forest, time immediately goes a whole lot slower. The silence, the beautiful nature and the fresh forest air make it the perfect place to unwind. Go to bed with a view of the stars and wake up with the sound of the birds... The cottage is equipped for a family: one bedroom with a nice double bed, one room with a luxurious bunk bed and a children's room with two cribs. Yet, we speak from experience, it is also very nice to come together or alone to enjoy the Ommen forest ;). The kitchen has everything you need (except a dishwasher), the renovated bathroom has a nice rain shower and there is a separate toilet in the hall. From the couch in the cozy living room (with wood stove) you look out on the terrace and the fire pit. Nature and surroundings
You walk from the garden straight into the woods where you can walk and mountain bike. Ommen and its surroundings are known for the many hiking and biking trails, forests, lakes, sand drifts Sahara and of course the beautiful river, the Vecht. There is a lovely outdoor pool in the center of Ommen and near there an indoor pool so year-round swimming fun :) Ommen has a nice center with many cafes, restaurants, stores and of course the best ice cream shop in the country. Zwolle is the largest city in the neighborhood at 30 minutes by car.

Very nice and complete cottage! Well maintained, nicely decorated and fully equipped. Very nice that the beds are already made upon arrival and there are many towels ready for use, top! The children had a great time on the swing and trampoline, while we parents could relax on the terrace and on the rocking chair. In the evening washing up together and playing games (there are plenty of toys, books and games available). In short, wonderful vacation.
Heel mooi en compleet huisje! Verzorgd, leuk ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Heel fijn dat de bedden al opgemaakt zijn bij aankomst en er veel handdoeken klaarliggen voor gebruik, top!
De kinderen hebben zich goed vermaakt met de schommel en trampoline, terwijl wij als ouders konden relaxen op het terras en op de schommelstoel. In de avond samen afwassen en spelletjes spelen (er is genoeg speelgoed, boeken en spelletjes aanwezig). Kortom, heerlijke vakantie.Lovely quiet place in the forest.
