The name "Casa é Connosco" is a Portuguese expression that translates as "home with us. This is exactly our invitation; to feel at home, be yourself, relax and enjoy our (h)honest healthy meals in this soothing oasis. The large back and front gardens are adorned in fruit and nut trees, with several nice places to relax, do yoga or read a book. Enjoy the intense tranquility on a lounger, hammock or the lawn. And you can cool off in the small plunge pool or swimming pool. There is a large living room with lounge sofa and projector, fireplace and dining table. The large kitchen is equipped with everything you need to possibly make your own meal. In the large bedroom there is a large double bed (can be split in 2) In the small one a queen bed. There are spacious closets to store all your stuff, and a desk to write/work at. Both rooms share 1 spacious bathroom with splash shower and bubble bath on the 1st floor.
Nature and surroundings
Among the soothing flora & fauna you will wake up while I prepare a delicious healthy breakfast for you with harvest from our organic garden. Our guesthouse is located at the top of hill Vendas, 3 kilometers from historic Alvaiázere in Central Portugal. The backyard borders directly on the Portuguese Camino de Santiago and also crosses the Fatima route here. Many brave pilgrims cross this road daily. The wooded valley routes and hiking trails begin just outside the back door. These take you through valleys to mountain peaks with breathtaking views. The village of Alvaiázere has stores, eateries and cafes. Nature River beaches are within a 20-minute drive.-Praia fluvial das Fragas de Sao Simao 10 km-Praia Fluvial de Dornes, reservoir15km -Praia fluvial de Aldeia Ana de Aviz 13kmSwimming and water sports activities can be done at the beautiful Reservoir of 'Albufeira do Castelo de Bode' near the picturesque town of Dornes. Sea beach is 1 hour away.
