Relax and completely unwind in this unique and cozy haystack. A place where nothing has to be done, but where there is plenty to do in the area! On our former farm we rent out five chalets, four haystacks and a cozy mobile home. The haystack is perfect for cyclists, hikers or guests who come by boat and like to camp with just that little bit of extra comfort. The accommodations are for rent per night and are located along the river Vecht, just outside Weesp, close to Amsterdam and the Gooi & Vechtstreek. The haystack is a cozy one-room apartment with a comfortable bed (double or twin beds), a dining table and a simple kitchenette. Toilets and showers are in the nearby sanitary building. Comforters, bedding and towels are included.
Nature and surroundings
Our farm is located next to the Vecht River, in a beautiful location with opportunities to swim or rent a boat. We also make a canoe and kayak available for our guests. In the vicinity you will find nature reserves such as the Ankeveense Plassen, the Spiegelplas and the Naardermeer. Station Weesp is a short distance away; from there you can get to Amsterdam Central Station or Schiphol Airport by train in just 15 minutes. Parking is available in our yard and we are also accessible by bus (please note that the bus runs once an hour and not on Sundays and holidays). For added convenience, we have bicycles available for our guests. These bikes are for general use and available while supplies last.
