The Lodge is a comfortable, simple and cool mountain lodge with the best view ever! And whether you enjoy the sunset from the large covered veranda, from your sun-drenched side terrace, or perhaps in winter, relaxing in front of the stove in front of the panoramic windows, that's up to you! This mountain log cabin with open floor plan decor, features a spacious private bathroom with shower and toilet. In the living area you'll find a rustic-industrial simple kitchen with 4 burner gas stove, range hood, tabletop refrigerator, countertop with of course dishwashing space and hot and cold water. Equipped with cookware, microwave, push-through coffee, kettle, plates, glasses, etc. The large "master bed" (1.60 m x 2.00 m) is very fine "tucked away" in a large alcove (again with great views from your bed!), giving you the feeling of a safe box bed, without the lack of movement. The loft bed is located in the diagonally opposite corner for more privacy.
Nature and surroundings
Eco Lodge Cabreira is located in the goatherd mountain range, the Serra da Cabreira. Be sure to Google this beautiful area. Plenty of nature, outdoor opportunities, hiking, mountain biking, swimming at waterfalls and other idyllic hidden spots. Semi-abandoned medieval villages, mountains, vineyards and surrounded by other nature reserves and national parks such as Peneda de Geres and Alvão. Historical cities such as Porto, Guimaraes, Braga, Barcelos etc. are within 1 hour drive (and so is the sea!) Eco Lodge Cabreira is a small-scale vacation park, somewhat rustic, somewhat stubborn, somewhat clumsy (following the example of the owner), wonderfully natural and quiet. Even in summer when we also open the doors for stays in furnished tents or with your own tent. Although slightly more bustle, service and casual coziness, it remains enjoyable in all peace and quiet. Nothing must and almost everything is allowed.
