Come enjoy our country cottage and experience peace and quiet. We are Joost and Lara and live with our daughters in beautiful Den Velde, together with our dogs, cat, chickens and horses - a real place for lovers of the outdoors. The nature house is suitable for 2 to 4 persons and has two bedrooms, both with a double bed. The bathroom is simple and equipped with a shower and toilet. In the kitchen you will find an oven, 6-burner gas stove and a Nespresso machine with milk frother. In the kitchen, the wood stove provides warmth and atmosphere; a basket of wood will be waiting for you upon arrival. Outside you can enjoy the picnic table or the firepit. For extra relaxation, there is a hot tub and, for some fun, a table tennis table.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located in the beautiful Vecht valley, near the town of Gramsbergen. The Pieterpad runs just 800 meters from the cottage. In Gramsbergen you will find a cozy beer brewery (De Mommeriete), as well as several restaurants. From our cottage you can walk straight into nature. Discover the most beautiful routes along the Vecht, follow parts of the Pieterpad or take a relaxing walk through the farmlands. In need of a refreshing dip? Swimming in the Vecht or in the canal is a good option. There is also a recreational lake in Hardenberg where you can enjoy yourself with the children. Take the train to Zwolle and be in the city center within 35 minutes. Closer by are Ommen and Dalfsen, both atmospheric towns. If you go in the other direction, you will come to Coevorden in Drenthe. Or visit the cozy food market in Emmen on Friday mornings. Shopping in Germany is also just around the corner.
