Nature house in Ruinen

Welcome to our family vacation home De Eekhoorn van Ruinen. This vacation home is situated on a spacious plot of 1000 m2 on the edge of the National Park Dwingelderveld in Ruinen (province of Drenthe). The house is completely barrier-free and fully equipped: a kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, cooking island, several seating areas, 2 luxury bathrooms with toilet, shower and sink. After a walk/bike ride or day out, enjoy and relax with massage jets in the hot tub. There are 8 beds with down comforters, divided into 4 bedrooms. The washer and dryer are not lacking. Fully equipped and with internet connection via WiFi. For the children there are facilities such as trampoline, swing. Also outside are several picnic tables and terraces. Ample parking. Bed linen, towels and kitchen linen is included. As well as dishwasher tablets (2 per day). Surcharge toer.bel. € 3.50 pp / night (separate note).

The cozy brink village of Ruinen is about 1 kilometer away. In Ruinen there are several supermarkets, stores, swimming pool, catering establishments, Lammichien and an ice cream parlor. Within a few steps you are in the middle of the Dwingelderveld with a visitor center and 2 sheep pens to keep the heath in condition. Dwingelderveld has the largest contiguous wet heathland area in Western Europe. With numerous hiking and cycling opportunities in the area, the vacation home is ideal for sporty and active rest seekers; a perfect base to combine sport-culture-nature and entertainment. Sailing on the Weerribben, a day in Meppel, Hoogeveen or Zwolle, visit the Drents Museum or Memorial Camp Westerbork, historic village Orvelte, Dwingeloo with the most beautiful village square of Drenthe, Diever with a hiding place in the woods and dolmen and Havelte (2 dolmens).
