Welcome to our self-catering chalet on an island (25min boat ride). Sleeping two and with extra space for children on a sofa bed, this nature house offers everything you need for an adventurous stay in the middle of nature. There is no electricity or water supply. No problem! Powered by solar panels, our chalet offers all the comforts of home, including a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, plenty of drinking water and even an ice maker. Enjoy a refreshing (but also hot) outdoor shower, cook a delicious meal on the barbecue or gas stove, and take a cooling dip from the swim ladder. The decor, inspired by the style of Ibiza, exudes a cozy and stylish atmosphere. During your stay, you will find that we use an ecological dry toilet as there is no sewage connection. Outside, you will find a spacious dining table, and a cozy veranda with a comfortable lounge sofa.
Nature and surroundings
The Vinkeveense Plassen is a unique place and we are therefore very proud to have an island here. There are beautiful boating routes and is in the top of dive locations in the Netherlands because of the clear water! For the enthusiasts: you can rent a boat with it during your stay (see photo), ask about the possibilities! You do not need a boating license for the boat and we will briefly explain the basic skills! We have two SUP boards that you can use for free. There is a large parking lot where you can park your car for free (parking lot: Winkelpolder / Eiland 1) From here it is a 5 minute walk to the boat and then a 20 minute boat ride to the island! There are nice restaurants nearby where you can even sail to. The picturesque Abcoude is nearby but you can also sail or drive to Vinkeveen. At both villages you will find supermarkets and eateries.
