Nature house in Sevenum

We had a wonderful stay with a large group of adults and young children! The farmhouse is incredibly spacious and cozy, with a large, fully equipped kitchen. We had fantastic weather, so we especially enjoyed the grounds, had some great barbecues, and used the hot tub. The animals on the property were also a big hit with the kids!

We didn’t get to see much of the surrounding area, but that really wasn’t necessary at all. There’s plenty of space to just relax at the farm and enjoy each other’s company. The host is also incredibly friendly and helpful!

It’s good to know that there are three enclosed bedrooms and two open lofts that are connected to each other. Due to the open layout and the stairs, these are less suitable for very young children or people with limited mobility.

The cleaning could have been a bit more thorough in some areas, particularly in the bathroom and in the less visible spots

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad met een grote groep volwassenen en jonge kinderen! De boerderij is ontzettend ruim en gezellig, met een grote keuken die van alle gemakken is voorzien. We hadden fantastisch weer en hebben daardoor vooral genoten van het terrein, lekker gebarbecued en gebruikgemaakt van de hottub. Ook de dieren op het terrein waren een groot succes bij de kinderen!

We hebben weinig van de omgeving gezien, maar dat was eigenlijk ook helemaal niet nodig. Er is genoeg ruimte om gewoon lekker bij de boerderij te blijven en samen te genieten. De verhuurder is bovendien ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam!

Wel goed om te weten is dat er drie afgesloten slaapkamers zijn en daarnaast twee open lofts die met elkaar in verbinding staan. Deze zijn door de open indeling en de trap minder geschikt voor heel jonge kinderen of mensen die minder goed ter been zijn.

De schoonmaak had op sommige plekken wat grondiger gemogen, met name in de badkamer en op de wat minder zichtbare

The farm is located in a lovely, spacious spot in Sevenum, with plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors. Chickens, two small horses, and Frank the donkey roam the grounds. It’s so much fun, especially for the kids! We had a wonderful time sitting outside and enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside.

The only downside, in our opinion, was the road the farm is located on. Trucks and tractors drive by regularly, and you can hear them quite clearly inside. Because of that, it’s not always as quiet as you might expect. Other than that, it’s a wonderful place with plenty of space and a cozy, rural atmosphere!

De boerderij ligt op een fijne, ruime plek in Sevenum, met volop ruimte om buiten te genieten. Op het terrein lopen kipjes, twee kleine paardjes en ezel Frank rond. Ontzettend leuk, vooral voor de kinderen! We hebben heerlijk buiten gezeten en genoten van de rust en het buitenleven.

Het enige minpuntje vonden wij de weg waaraan de boerderij ligt. Er rijden regelmatig vrachtwagens en tractoren voorbij en die hoor je binnen behoorlijk goed. Daardoor is het niet altijd zo rustig als je misschien zou verwachten. Verder een heerlijke plek met veel ruimte en een gezellige landelijke sfeer!

The only minor drawback (mainly due to the heat outside, so really a bit of a force majeure situation) was the heat on the upper floor. Other than that, there was absolutely nothing to complain about.

Enige kleine nadeel (vooral door de hitte buiten, dus eigenlijk ook beetje overmacht) was de hitte op de bovenverdieping. Verder echt totaal niks op aan te merken.

It was truly a fantastic stay! The space was even bigger than it looks in the photos. A very kind hostess who really goes out of her way to help and is incredibly hospitable.
We were there during a time when it was extremely hot, but luckily there was air conditioning on the ground floor, which made a huge difference.
The surroundings were great, too—with chickens, a donkey, and a pony. Top-notch!

Het was echt een top verblijf! De ruimte nog groter dan het op de foto's lijkt. Een hele fijne gastvrouw die echt met je meedenkt en heel gastvrij is.
We zaten er in een tijd dat het hartstikke heet was, gelukkig was er op de benedenverdieping een airco aanwezig, dat scheelde heel veel.
Super omgeving ook, kippen, ezeltje en pony erbij. Toptoptop!

Mooi, ruim huis. Gezellig aangekleed en compleet ingericht voor heel veel wensen. Ontvangst en tussendoor contact met de eigenaar is zeer hartelijk.

Beautiful, expansive surroundings. Cottage overlooks large garden with hot tub, from which you have a wonderful view. Chickens, donkey and horses complete the experience!

Mooie, weidse omgeving. Huisje heeft uitzicht op grote tuin met hottub, waaruit je een prachtige uitkijk hebt. Kippen, ezel en paardjes maken de ervaring compleet!
