Don't feel like cooking after all, but rather walk to a nice terrace in the village? All that is possible from our forest cottage in Norg. We bought this cottage in 2022 to exchange our life in the city for this beautiful environment from time to time. We like to share this experience with our guests and hope you enjoy this place as much as we do. In the cottage you can use games and books. The kitchen has an extensive inventory and basic products are available. Since we live far away, restocking for the next guests is much appreciated. We are preserving this cottage thanks to your stay! In 2022 the roof will be replaced and in April 2026 double glazing will be installed. Don't worry, the heating will keep you warm now too! Please bring your own linen.
Nature and surroundings
The forest cottage is located in a quiet forest. In the surroundings of Norg you can be fantastic outdoors. The landscape is varied with forests, heathland, historic villages and fields. You can walk and cycle very well. The cottage is a ten-minute walk (through the woods) from the lively village of Norg with stores, good restaurants and a bus to Assen and Roden. Cities such as Groningen and Drachten are half an hour away, also for children there is plenty to do in North Drenthe. There is a family swimming pool, a gnome trail in Norg and a stone's throw away you will find the nature reserve Noordsche Veld where everyone can sit on the terrace while children have endless fun with a scoop net in the pond full of life and the playground.
