In our luxurious, energy-efficient and comfortably furnished Veurhuus with unobstructed views of meadows and forests is peace, space, privacy and a beautiful nature experience guaranteed. The Veurhuus was completely renovated in 2020 and in 2022 the cavity walls were provided with insulation and ten additional solar panels were installed. These energy-saving measures ensured that rents were not increased for 2023. On the ground floor is the living room/kitchen and an odor-free toilet and upstairs are the bedrooms with a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The Veurhuus is environmentally conscious, comfortable and very well furnished! It is a luxury private vacation home for up to 5 persons with a former sheep pasture of 1,100 m2 where the children can play nicely and where you can find a nice place to sit in the sun and/or shade. In the evening you can enjoy the sunset in the Jachthut.
Nature and surroundings
Nature can do very well without people, but people cannot do without nature! In the surrounding nature there is much to see and do. The National Parks: Dwingelderveld, the Weerribben/Wieden and the Drents-Friese Wold are within half an hour by car. Enjoy walking or cycling on the moors where the shepherd roams with his flock of sheep. Or rent a canoe or whisper boat and sail through the Weerribben. Giethoorn is a destination not to be missed, but Muggebeet and Dwarsgracht are just as beautiful and less crowded. Only downside in the area is that the road next to it does not feel safe for walking/biking. There is only a highway and tractors drive fast. Therefore, we drove the car to the hiking trails. This is a bit of a shame, but not the fault of this very nice nature house.
Enige minpunt in de omgeving is dat de weg ernaast voelt niet veilig voor wandelen/fietsen. Er is alleen een autoweg en de tractors rijden hard. Daarom reden we met de auto naar de wandelpaden. Dat is een beetje jammer, maar niet de schuld van dit heel mooi natuurhuis.

Het Veurhuus is heel netjes en ruim, een heel fijn huis om te blijven. Mooie slaapkamers. In de keuken is er alles wat je nodig hebt. Buiten is een leuke overkapping met bankjes en een uitzicht over de wei. Aan de andere kant kan je koeien zien en horen. Vlakbij vind je mooie bossen om te wandelen en Dwingelderveld is niet ver weg.
