Cottage is old and in need of renovation. On the ground floor you can smell the sewer. My wife could not get a bite through her throat in the kitchen because of the foul smell in the hall. Apartment 1 is listed as a luxury vacation rental but is not. I reported eea to the owner but he apologized that he had installed solar panels on the stables and had repaved around the house. The interior of the cottage is also old with plastic Flowers in front of the windows, dark (little light), sinks in the kitchen are old (can not be cleaned). Kitchen as a whole is old and dated. Upper floor is better (less dated). Price quality is way below par. Far too expensive for what is offered and better of luxury as advertised by the owner. I felt fairly sold out.

Huisje is oud en toe aan Renovatie. Op de begane grond ruik je het riool. Mijn vrouw kon door de vieze lucht in de hal geen hap door haar keel krijgen in de keuken. Appartement 1 staat vermeld als een luxe vakantiewoning maar is dat geenszins. Ik heb eea bij de eigenaar gemeld maar deze excuseerde zich dat hij zonnepanelen op de stallen had geplaatst en rond de woning opnieuw had laten bestraten. De inrichting van het huisje is eveneens oud met plastic Bloemen voor de ramen, donker (weinig licht), spoelbakken in de keuken zijn oud (niet meer schoon te krijgen). Keuken in zijn geheel is oud en gedateerd. Bovenverdieping is beter (minder gedateerd). Prijs kwaliteit is ver beneden de maat. Veel te duur voor wat wordt geboden en beter van luxe zoals door de eigenaar geadverteerd. Ik voelde mij redelijk bekocht.

Beautifully located close to fields and Forest. Environment is stunningly beautiful.

Prachtig gelegen dicht bij velden en Bos. Omgeving is schitterend mooi.

Well-equipped kitchen where we could cook for ourselves. Beds made up. Terrace could be decorated with some flower boxes.

Goed uitgeruste keuken waar we zelf konden koken. Opgemaakte bedden. Terras zouden met wat bloembakken opgesierd kunnen worden.

On the outskirts of the small village of Epen in Limburg we enjoyed a quiet stay. There were several apartments in the complex so also several people. At the front (see photo) of the complex flowering plants, at the rear where our apartment was, unfortunately not. The interior was rustic and clean. Good beds, good sleep.

Aan de rand van het kleine dorpje Epen in Limburg hebben wij een rustg verblijf genoten. Er waren meerdere appartementen in het complex zodoende ook meerdere personen. Aan de voorkant (zie foto) van het complex wel bloeiende planten, aan de achterkant waar ons appartement was, helaas niet. Het interieur was landelijk en schoon. Goede bedden, goede nachtrust.
