The library is part of a converted cattle barn. In over 30 square meters, you get the chance to sleep among 3,500 books. There are three comfortable box springs, two of which can be made up as a double bed. Shower and toilet are in the hallway; fridge, coffee maker and kettle are in the room. Of course there is room to sit and eat. We rent on the basis of Bed & Breakfast. We provide a full breakfast every morning. Cooking is not possible. Like our other nature house - the kokhuus - the library is part of a former farmyard, where we live and work. An organic vegetable garden with two small greenhouses, a mini-campsite with three spots and an activity and workshop space provide a casual atmosphere with like-minded people. The garden is a pleasant place where people, animals and plants are given space.
Nature and surroundings
The Hof der Wonderen is located amidst the meadows a few hundred meters from the Regge (border river between Twente and Salland). Nijverdal and Hellendoorn are located 5 and 4 kilometers respectively. National Park the Salland Ridge and nature reserve the Wierdense Veld are close by. Walking, cycling and canoeing are possible in the immediate vicinity. Water, forests, heaths, small-scale farmland; we enjoy it every day and so do our guests.
