Nature house in Odoorn

The decor is incredibly charming, every detail has been thought of, and Bart even checks in now and then to see if there’s anything extra you might need.
Everything is explained clearly in advance, and communication is super easy and fast.

Ontzettend sfeervol ingericht, overal aan gedacht en tussendoor informeert Bart nog of er nog iets -extra- nodig is.
Alles wordt vooraf goed uitgelegd en het contact gaat super makkelijk en snel.

A fantastic view—even from your bed—that looks different every day. The peace and quiet, as well as the open space, are both wonderful.

Een geweldig uitzicht, zelfs vanuit je bed, wat er elke dag weer anders uitziet. De rust en ruimte is er allebei heerlijk.

To start with, it’s a unique house. Canvas on the outside and wood on the inside. The porch, with its multiple seating areas, is very nice. We did miss having some side tables for snacks and drinks. Inside, the decor is cozy, with an inviting dining table in the center. The “curtains” really give it that camping vibe. It does take a bit of effort to roll them back up. Luckily, there was a stool available. We had gorgeous weather, so we mostly sat outside and built a fire in a large fire pit. The view is truly amazing, and you can walk right into the nature reserve. It was also wonderfully peaceful. No cars driving by. Such silence. Definitely recommended if you love nature. Tip: dark-colored towels are more comfortable. The outdoor chairs and bench aren’t really easy for people with limited mobility. All in all, we were very satisfied.

Om te beginnen is het een bijzonder huis. Canvassen van buiten en van binnen hout. De veranda met meerdere zitjes is erg mooi. Missen wel wat bijzettafeltjes voor hapjes en drankjes. Binnen een gezellige aankleding met centraal een uitnodigende eettafel. De 'gordijnen' helemaal op tentsfeer. Kost wel wat inspanning om weer op te rollen. Gelukkig was er een krukje voorhanden. Wij hadden schitterend weer dus vooral buiten gezeten en in een grote vuurschaal vuurtje gemaakt. Het uitzicht is echt te gek en je wandelt zo het natuurgebied in. Het was ook heerlijk rustig. Geen voorbijrijdende auto's. Wat een stilte. Zeker een aanrader als je van de natuur houdt. Tip, donkere handdoeken zijn prettiger. De buitenstoelen en bank zijn voor de wat minder beweeglijke mensen niet echt makkelijk. Al met al dik tevreden.

What a wonderful place! On the outskirts of a small village with a view of the fields. Unique cottages that stay nice and cool on hot days. And we really enjoyed the fire pit!! It was so cozy with all those seating areas in front of the cottage.

Wat een heerlijke plek! Aan de rand van een klein dorp met uitzicht over de akkervelden. Uniek huisjes wat super koel blijft tijdens warme dagen. En wat hebben we genoten van vuurplaats!! Echt zo gezellig al die zitjes voor het huisje.
