On 1 of the most beautiful spots in Northwest Overijssel stands this Nature House. It was built in 1910 and restored in 2004 while maintaining original details. It has a total area of 63m2. In the living room there is a kitchen cum dining area. There are two bedsteads, 1 of which offers sleeping accommodation for a child. In the other there are kitchen attributes. In the bathroom there is a bathtub and a walk-in shower, the toilet is separate. The cottage is very fully equipped, bed linen, kitchen and towels, everything is provided. The cottage has a private entrance, a garden door from the bedroom, a private south-facing terrace with garden furniture, a hammock, a barbecue and a free lawn surrounded by a hedge. Children are welcome by arrangement, a crib can be added to the bedroom and for older children there is another box bed. Lots of games and slide available. There are 2 bicycles available for free.
Nature and surroundings
Located next to a forest, overlooking meadows, our cottage is close to Havelte, Giethoorn, Appelscha, Vledder, Diever, the Weerribben and the Colony of Weldadigheid in Frederiksoord. All these beautiful places are accessible by bicycle. Walking, cycling and running routes run along our property. Four Icelandic horses, 2 miniature schnauzers and a cat are our co-inhabitants. Swallows, woodpeckers, many species of songbirds, deer, hares, badgers and foxes also know how to find us. Our garden is a wild garden that is also sometimes used by our old horse to graze. She walks neatly along the paths and leaves the flowers. Those looking for peace and quiet have come to the right place. For shopping we go to Steenwijk or Vledder.
