At 2 km lies the Equestrian Center Exloo. Assen, the capital of Drenthe, is 35 km away. In the Drents Museum you can learn a lot about the history of Drenthe. The museum regularly has new and interesting exhibitions. At 13 km is the village of Borger. In Borger lies the largest hunebed of the Netherlands. Fine stay
Fijn verblijf
Complete and nicely furnished house which still looks new. Magnificent views of the country from the bay window/serre. Lovely quiet country road, we love it. The temperature in the cottage was fine. The garden is well maintained. Private driveway for the car. If we had lived closer we would definitely go more often. Greetings from Zeeland.
Heerlijke rustige landweg, wij houden ervan. De temperatuur in het huisje was prima. De tuin is goed onderhouden. Eigen oprit voor de auto. Als we dichterbij gewoond hadden zouden we zeker vaker gaan. Groetjes uit Zeeland.

Great house, spacious and fully equipped. Located on a country road with very little traffic. Beautiful garden with many birds and wild flowers. In cool weather also nice to watch from the conservatory.
Beautiful area with many opportunities for hiking, biking and bird watching. Skylarks in the LOFAR area, for example.

The cottage is fully equipped and very clean.
We had a wonderful time at Albert and Astrid's cottage. We had beautiful sunny weather all week, but a strong and at the beginning of the week cold wind. So we didn't sit outside much. But we did spend a lot of time in the conservatory! That's really the favorite spot in the house. We had turned the chairs a quarter turn (with our backs to the road) so we could both use the table and the reading lamp. And of course look outside ;-) We hiked near Exloo (Tijdreisroute Leewal) and the museum village of Orvelte, enjoyed a high-tea at Tea Time in Echten and visited the Drents Museum De Buitenplaats (with a tour of the 17th-century Nijsinghhuis). In short, a lovely relaxing midweek in a quiet, green place!
This text is automatically translated.
