This Tiny house, complete with a private hot tub, is located on the edge of an orchard. We’re currently transforming what was once a farm campground into a small-scale vacation park featuring five Tiny houses. Surrounded by singing birds, with plenty of space and greenery all around: this is a place to unwind. There’s a campfire pit and an outdoor oven where you can bake the most delicious pizzas in no time. The little ones can build forts and romp around in the nature playground. The cottage is cozy, sustainable, and offers all the comforts of home. The large box bed overlooks the orchard. There’s a (children’s) bedroom with a bunk bed and a crib for three children. A nice bathroom and kitchen with a refrigerator and dishwasher round out your comfort. Slow coffee, stoking your own wood stove, and lounging in the hammock or your private hot tub—here, you can truly unwind. Your stay includes made-up beds, final cleaning, and a starter supply of firewood. Bookable for a minimum of 3 nights. During summer vacation, bookings start at one week.
Nature and surroundings
We look out over a large orchard and are located right next to the unique Colonies of Benevolence (UNESCO World Heritage Site). In fun museums (great for kids, too!), you’ll learn about the unique history of this beautiful area. Bicycle routes take you past old churches, stately farms, and cozy colony cottages. Just cross the road and you’ll step right into the Drenthe Forest. Take a hike lasting several hours all the way to the Drents Friese Wold. With the little ones, take a short forest trail or simply hop over the ditch to wander through the orchard where dozens of different apple and pear varieties grow. In the fall, you can pick your own apples and pears here! Take a refreshing dip at Bosbad Vledder, just a few minutes away by bike. By the way, you can easily rent cargo bikes (including electric ones!) from our neighbors at the Fietstransferium. You can also head out onto the water. Go stand-up paddleboarding or rent an electric boat in the Weerribben or on one of the nearby lakes. You’re welcome here!
