Sometimes you need a place where nobody wants anything from you. Where you step outside in the morning and it’s just quiet. At BoHo, you can rent both houses together with your group: the farmhouse from 1882 for 14 guests and the summer house for 10. Nine bedrooms, two kitchens, two saunas, and two hot tubs, plus a dock for swimming in the natural waters. Bedding, towels, and Wi-Fi are included, and there’s parking for eight cars. The garden with its living willow dome and barbecue area, the orchard, and the wellness area are all yours. We live next door and share the gate, so you’ll see us walking by from time to time. The hay barn next to the houses can be rented separately—a quiet space for workshops and ceremonies. Photos of it are included here. BoHo is not a party venue, but a place to unwind. No parties and no outdoor music, out of respect for our neighbors.
Nature and surroundings
The small village of Kockengen is located in the Dutch province of Utrecht and has a rich history dating back to the Middle Ages. Despite its size, Kockengen played a crucial role in the development of agriculture and trade in the region, and remnants of the past can still be seen in the village’s charming architecture and picturesque streets. HISTORY, ART, AND CULTURE However, the real magic lies in the surrounding area. Visitors can explore the opulent De Haar Castle, which dates back to the 14th century and underwent extensive restoration in the late 19th century. The castle itself is a masterpiece of Gothic and Renaissance architecture, with a moat, drawbridge, and imposing towers that give it a fairytale-like appearance. History and culture are also abundant in the region, with the beautiful Dom Tower in Utrecht serving as a symbol of the city’s rich history. The tower, which dates back to the 14th century, is the tallest church tower in the Netherlands and offers spectacular views.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 25 years.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
