This residential farmhouse is equipped with luxury hotel-quality beds and has on the ground floor a kitchen with dining area, a living room, a large master bedroom with extra wide double bed - plus enough space for possible crib(s) - and an additional bedroom with spacious beds of 2.1 m long with extra sink. In the central hall there is a separate toilet plus bathroom with an extra toilet. On the upper floor there are 2 bedrooms (each for 2p) with washbasins and spacious beds of 2.1 mtr. The large beds can be used as double/single beds. The living room has terrace doors making the terrace an extension of the living room. This house is located on the border of Salland and Twente and is the ideal base for any walker, cyclist, sportsman and nature lover. Price does not include: -Bed linen can be booked for € 15 p.p. (pillowcase, comforter cover + fitted sheet) - Tourist tax p.p. p.n.
Nature and surroundings
De Bonte Koe farmhouse is an authentic Twente farm near nature reserve Eerde (between the town of Ommen and the village of Den Ham). With its own fully fenced yard of over 3,200 m2, this unique location offers plenty of space and privacy. Nature reserves Eerde and the Eerder Achterbroek are within walking distance (800 m), as well as Den Ham village (700 m). This farmhouse is easily accessible by public transport, the bus even stops outside the door. The house is located on a N-road with associated traffic, but for many this does not disturb the peace and offers the advantages in terms of accessibility by car, public transport and bicycle. The cycle path Den Ham - Ommen runs along the house and offers a perfect opportunity to explore nature. For example, it is only 12 minutes (4 km) to the foot of the Lemeler-/ Archemerberg (78 meters high overlooking an area from Zwolle to Germany).
