On the outskirts of Steenbergen you will find our spacious log cabin, which is fully equipped. The beds are made, towels and tea towels are waiting for you. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, 4 burner stove, oven, kettle, toaster and coffee machine, cutlery and crockery. Oil/pepper/salt/coffee/tea/sugar are provided. In the utility room you will find a washer and dryer. The bathroom is equipped with shampoo, shower gel and of course there are bath towels for you. The 350m2 yard is completely fenced and therefore ideal for guests who want to bring their four-legged friend. Pets are welcome, but not in the bedroom or on the furniture. Restaurant Jachtlust is within walking distance should you not feel like cooking. There is a maximum stay of 2 persons. We do not charge cleaning fees, but do expect you to leave the cottage tidy.
Nature and surroundings
Steenbergen is an ideal base for both hiking and biking! You walk directly into nature from the cabin. The Zuursche Duinen nature reserve with its sand drifts and dolmens is very worthwhile. Here you will find unspoiled nature, sheep herds and fens. If you want to go a little further away, Assen with its Drents Museum and Roden with its Mensinge Woods and many restaurants (Cuisinerie Mensinge is highly recommended) are within cycling distance. For more entertainment is also the vibrant city of Groningen easily accessible and about 20 (car) minutes away. In short, Steenbergen has a perfect location. You can fully enjoy your rest, but also cultural and burgundian opportunities are plentiful. An ideal break for everyone!
