Nature house in vila pouca da beira

The surroundings of this house are beautiful but the road to it is irresponsible at night and very difficult in daylight (and we are used to a lot of bad roads...). The house itself is extremely damp. In the bedroom there was water on the floor. And even the bedding in the upstairs bedroom was damp. We ended up spending only 1 night here and looked for another accommodation.

De omgeving van dit huis is prachtig maar de weg er naar toe is 's avonds onverantwoord en bij daglicht erg lastig (en wij zijn heel wat slechte wegen gewend...). Het huis zelf is enorm vochtig. In de slaapkamer stond water op de grond. En zelfs het beddengoed in de slaapkamer boven was vochtig. Wij hebben hier uiteindelijk maar 1 nacht doorgebracht en hebben een ander onderkomen gezocht.

Cottage in nature and with the luxury of a pool and WiFi. Unfortunately for us no barbecue due to forest fire risk. (Barbecue available) But that should not spoil the fun. few villages away, Oliviera de Hospital, are an Aldi, Lidl and other supermarkets. Portugal is really beautiful! We will definitely come back!

Huisje in de natuur en met de luxe van een zwembad en WiFi.
Helaas voor ons geen barbecue ivm bosbrandgevaar. (Barbecue aanwezig) Maar dat mag de pret niet drukken.
Paar dorpjes verderop, Oliviera de Hospital, zijn een Aldi, Lidl en andere supermarkten te vinden. Zien er allemaal spiksplinternieuw uit!
Portugal is echt prachtig! Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!

Wow!!! What a fantastic place, beautiful view, all green, huge garden to wander in. With fig and necatine trees. Water fountains. Several different terrace heights. The pictures on the website do not do justice to this fantastic place. Tip: put the router for the WiFi outside (sheltered of course) and you will have reasonably good WiFi while staying on the terrace by the pool. Boys (11+14 years) warmly pleased with the gigantic pool and reasonably satisfied with the WiFi ;-) Carla, contact person of the cottage, shows you the 1st time the road because oh dear we are not used to that as Dutch people. This was a sandy rock and stone road 2.0. Not normally bad. But our rental car had no problems with it. In the kitchen there is a Dolce Gusto and a coffee filter machine. Also filters and a few cups of dolxe gusto. Towels sufficiently present. Freshly cleaned house with beds made.

Wauw! Wat een fantastische plek, prachtig uitzicht, alles groen, gigantische tuin om in te struinen. Met vijgen- en necatinebomen. Waterbronnen. Meerdere verschillende terrashoogtes. De foto's op de website doen geen recht aan deze fantastische plek.
Tip: leg de router voor de WiFi buiten neer (beschut natuurlijk) en je hebt redelijk goede WiFi terwijl je op het terras bij het zwembad vertoeft. Jongens (11+14 jaar) warm zeer tevreden met het gigantische zwembad en redelijk tevreden met de WiFi ;-)
Carla, contactpersoon van het huisje, laat je de 1e keer de weg zien want ohjee dat zijn we als Nederlanders niet gewend. Dit was een zand- rots- en steenweggetje 2.0. Niet normaal slecht. Maar onze huurauto had er geen problemen mee. Bleef wel een beetje spannend.
In de keuken is een Dolce Gusto en een koffiefilterapparaat aanwezig. Ook filters en een paar cupjes dolxe gusto.
Handdoeken voldoende aanwezig. Fris gepoetst huis met opgemaakte bedden.

Well maintained cottage that stays cool even with very hot temperatures. Plenty of space in the kitchen and bathroom. A beautiful pool that could easily be enjoyed by several men at a time! The garden surrounding the house was large and beautiful to explore. Too bad the roof creaked a bit at night, not ideal for light sleepers.

Goed onderhouden huisje dat zelfs met zeer warme temperaturen koel blijft. Voldoende ruimte in de keuken en badkamer.
Een prachtig zwembad waar er gerust een aantal man tegelijk van kan genieten! De tuin rondom het huis was groot en mooi om te verkennen.
Jammer dat het dak 's nachts wat kraakte, voor de lichte slapers niet ideaal.

Heerlijk afgelegen met enkel wat boeren in de buurt.
