Relax or unwind after a nice walk or bike ride can perfectly in this in the forest nature house in Schoonoord. Our cottage is located at the front of a small bungalow park (park is without facilities). The nature house can accommodate up to 2 persons and has a living room with TV, a well-equipped kitchen, shower, toilet (separate) and 1 bedroom. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, combi-oven, dishwasher, coffee maker and kettle. Upon arrival your bed is made and towels/kitchen set are waiting for you. Experience the tranquility of our enclosed garden. Outside are 2 terraces, an outdoor canopy and a shed for storing your bicycles. Parking is allowed on private property.
Nature and surroundings
Walking and cycling routes are plentiful in the Schoonoord area. The cottage is located at the height of the Pieterpad on the stage Schoonloo-Sleen (forestry Sleenerzand) near the Galgenberg. A prehistoric burial mound surrounded by dense woods and a popular hangout for Pieterpad hikers. In forestry Sleenerzand you will find a mixture of heathland, fens and junipers. 3km away in the village itself are the supermarket, snack bar and bakery. The characteristic villages of Drenthe Odoorn, Sleen, Orvelte, Westerbork are nearby. Emmen and Assen can be reached by ov (bus line in front of the park). Recreational lake the Kibbelkoele is just around the corner, a place to walk or spend the summer. In short, enjoy in a beautiful Drenthe environment!
