This compact, lovely, detached cottage in the outskirts of Zuidwolde (Drenthe) offers a fantastic location with lots of privacy and an unobstructed view over the meadows. Sheep regularly walk in the adjacent meadow in front of the cottage. The house is on one level and has a fully equipped kitchen. Cooking is done on an induction stove. There is a separate bedroom with a comfortable double bed, a bathroom cabinet with sink and a rain shower. Bath and bed linen are provided. The house is well insulated and has central heating. You can park your car on a private parking space and you can park your bicycles in the shed where there is also the possibility to charge electric bicycles. The front of the house has a spacious canopy with several heaters and lighting, a large picnic table and a seat so you can enjoy the view and the sunset until late at night.

This accommodation makes a fantastic base for exploring neighboring natural areas as it is adjacent to several cycling and hiking nodes. What to think of the extensive forest and heathland area Wildenberg-Rabbinge, the beautiful Reest valley, the Meeuwenplas, the Zwarte Gat and the estate De Steenen Pijp. A little further away but still close by are the Ooievaarslokkerij in De Wijk (10km), the sheepfold in Ruinen (22km), Giethoorn (38km) and the Hunebedcentrum Borger with the largest hunebed (55km).
