In 2022 we demolished our cottage and built a new house, in May 2023 we had our first guests. There is room for 4 people and the perfect place for a relaxing vacation in nature. The house has a warm and cozy atmosphere. The living room has a pellet stove, which provides pleasant warmth. On the large comfortable corner sofa you can enjoy a good book or watch the birds and squirrels that visit us regularly. The kitchen is fully equipped and the round table is nice to eat together or play a game. The large infrared sauna can accommodate 4 people. There is a nice bedroom downstairs with a large 2p bed and a sleeping loft with 2 rooms 1x 2p (extra) long and 1p. The covered terrace invites you to be outside a lot and enjoy the forest.
Nature and surroundings
In the heart of the beautiful diverse Drenthe countryside is a good place to stay. On the 11 hectare forest of the nature friends Norg are 80 privately owned cottages. Our house is nicely situated away from the road so no sounds of through traffic here. The cozy village of Norg is just a 10 minute walk from the cottage. You can enjoy hiking, cycling, and mountain biking here. Norg has a nice swimming pool and several stores and restaurants. There are often markets and fun events organized. In short, a wonderful place to be.
