In 2022, we tore down our cottage and built a new house; we welcomed our first guests in May 2023. It sleeps 4 people and is the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation in nature. The house has a warm and cozy atmosphere. The living room features a pellet stove, which provides pleasant warmth. On the large, comfortable corner sofa, you can enjoy a good book or watch the birds and squirrels that regularly visit us. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the round table is perfect for enjoying a meal together or playing a game. The spacious infrared sauna accommodates 4 people. There is a cozy bedroom downstairs with a large double bed and a sleeping loft with two rooms: one with an extra-long double bed and one with a single bed. The covered terrace invites you to spend plenty of time outdoors and enjoy the forest.
Nature and surroundings
In July and August, a minimum stay of 5 nights is required. It’s a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Drenthe’s beautiful and diverse landscape. There are 80 privately owned cottages on the 11-hectare forest owned by the Norg Nature Friends. Our house is set back from the road, so there’s no noise from through traffic here. The charming village of Norg is just a 10-minute walk from the cottage. You can enjoy wonderful walks, bike rides, and mountain biking here. Norg has a nice swimming pool and various shops and restaurants. Markets and fun events are often organized here. In short, it’s a wonderful place to be.

The cottage is nicely decorated and fully equipped. The pallet stove does its job well and the sauna is a nice addition.
