This is a very quiet and detached cottage by the lake and forest. Located on an area of over 12 acres, in the middle of Swedish Finnskogen. A cozy cottage with sleeping space for two to three people. This cottage is located about 200 meters from the main house. Included in the rental price: electricity, fireplace.A made bed and 2-person canoe. In the kitchen there is a two-burner stove and refrigerator with freezer, oven, microwave. There is a fireplace. Firewood is free. There is no running water in the cottage. On arrival you will be given 40 liters of water in designated containers, which will be replaced each time. There are also shower bags on site. There is a toilet bucket in the cottage for your use. And there is an outdoor toilet. The nature house has its own veranda, in the sun and shade. with garden chairs and BBQ/fire basket. There is also a small swimming pond where you can wash if necessary. Showering and washing clothes is possible after consultation.
Nature and surroundings
Hirvi is a wonderful place for nature lovers and peace seekers. With a little luck you will see a moose, lynx, beaver, badger, deer, fox or a wolf in the yard. You can also enjoy yourself here as a bird and plant lover.Birds: crane, pearl diver, rough-legged owl, osprey, auer cock. You are in the middle of nature! The cottage overlooks a small lake (Ulfsjon) where you can fish with a fishing card. A private boardwalk leads to the dock. In the immediate vicinity are also several swimming lakes. Hirvi is beautifully situated at the edge of the forest and has many hiking possibilities. The nearest supermarket is about 10 kilometers away in Ostmark. Here you can also refuel and withdraw cash. At a distance of 30 kilometers is a larger town Torsby with large shopping facilities and several restaurants etc. The Norwegian border is about 12 kilometers from the nature house. Oslo and Karlstad are about 130 kilometers from the cottage. In Lekvattnet you can buy small groceries.
