This cottage is a double vacation home. It is located on the edge of the center of de Lutte and is a great base to further explore the nature in the Lutte area. The cottage is attached to our house, has its own entrance and a private garden with veranda and lots of privacy. The house has a living room with a corner kitchen and a double bedroom. The bathroom has a shower which is made in a lifelike image of the nature reserve "Het Lutterzand". Showering as if you were standing in the Dinkel, a unique experience! From the house you have direct access to the beautiful veranda with a dining table, chairs and two armchairs. The garden is located at the rear of the house so you have plenty of privacy and a wonderful view. Furthermore, there is the possibility to store and recharge your (electric) bicycle in a locked shed.
Nature and surroundings
Our vacation home is located on the edge of a beautiful nature area with rolling scenery and a wooded area where you can enjoy numerous birds, squirrels, rabbits and deer, among other things. The area around De Lutte is known for its beautiful nature, Het Lutterzand with the meandering river De Dinkel, the Boerskotten and Arboretum Poortbulten. Also the Lutterse bergen, such as the Tankenberg and the Paasberg are beautiful areas. These invite you to wonderful walks or bicycle tours. A short distance away are the towns of Oldenzaal, Enschede and the art town of Ootmarsum. Our vacation home is located 5 km from the German border with nearby the town of Bad Bentheim with a beautiful medieval castle. A short walk away is the small but cozy church village of De Lutte. The village center of De Lutte, with its restaurants, cafes and atmospheric terraces, is a pleasant meeting point for cyclists and walkers.
