Comfortable cozy vacation home with rural views of Eierland. The living room has a sitting area with TV and radio/CD player and a sitting area overlooking the farmlands. The open kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer and a dishwasher. The ground floor bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. The utility room is equipped with a washing machine and the combination microwave. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with 2 single beds and a sink, the other with 2 single beds and a sink. There is also an extra toilet upstairs. This vacation home has a large enclosed garden with a lovely south-facing terrace and a playground for the children. There is garden furniture.
Nature and surroundings
Eierland The northern part of Texel is called Eierland. It includes the polder of the same name and De Cocksdorp. This part of Texel is called Eierland because bird's eggs were there for the taking in spring. The origins of Eierland Eierland, formerly called Eijerland or Eyerland, was part of Vlieland until the 13th century. Between Texel and Vlieland was the Anegat, about where De Slufter is now. With the creation of the Eierlandse Gat, Eierland became a truly independent island. It was not until the 16th century that Texel was connected to Eierland, when the Anegat silted up and a sand dike was built on this sandbank.ShipwreckedThe island of Eierland was difficult to reach and consisted mainly of a high dune with some land around it. The only dwelling there was the Eyerland House. Founded for sailors who had been shipwrecked on the infamous Eyerland Grounds.

Slechte bedden, huisje netjes.
Huisje ligt naast aanvliegroute pleziervliegtuigen, heel veel herrie dus. Land van boer ernaast werd 2 dagen van 's morgens vroeg tot 's avonds laat bewerkt m.b.v. tractor. Nog meer herrie dus!
