The large wooden vacation villa at Landgoed van Leeuwen has a pleasant and warm feel amid the blueberry garden in the wooded area and is accessed via a private driveway with electric gate. Around the villa is plenty of space, forest and privacy. The ground floor has a large living room with a country-style open kitchen, a spacious double bedroom, spacious bathroom with bathtub, shower cabin, separate toilet, clothes dryer and washing machine. In the reading corner you can quietly use more than 100 (comic) books. On the 1st floor you will find the Master Bedroom with a large luxury box spring (210 cm), a separate toilet and the other bedroom with 2 beds both with electrically adjustable slatted beds. Each bedroom in the house has its own sink with mirror and cabinets. Outside you have access to a spacious terrace and a lot of space around the villa. We like to keep it simple; bed, bath and kitchen linen, pillows and comforters are included in the price.
Nature and surroundings
Adjacent to one of the most beautiful and largest estates in the Netherlands, Twickel Estate (known for Twickel Castle), lies Landgoed van Leeuwen, just outside the beautiful tourist old town of Delden. This estate features a special vacation villa with lots of space around the house. About 100 meters from the villa you will find the closest walking path of Twickel Estate, running along the Twickelervaart. In the immediate vicinity is the Twentse Golf Course and you can enjoy hiking, cycling and mountain biking in and around the large forests of Twickel or the rural surroundings. Within walking, cycling and driving distance there are many tourist activities, museums and shopping centers. In Delden there is an outdoor swimming pool, nice restaurants and, for example, the Salt Museum. There are also regular regional markets. Just outside nearby Bornerbroek is a large recreational lake for swimming, surfing and diving.
