Romantic camping in a cozy Pod. Each Pod (2) sleeps two people. You’ll sleep in a double bed with a comfortable mattress so you’ll wake up well-rested and ready for new activities the next day. Included in the Pod: kitchenette, small refrigerator, stove, toilet, kettle, coffee maker, dishpan, broom, dustpan and trash can, jerry can, 2 chairs and a table inside, 2 chairs outside on the porch, and 2 bed pillows. Optional: Bed linens + blanket for €10 per set, an electric heater for €5, or a set of dishes and kitchen utensils for €10 + a €5 deposit can be booked separately. We recommend bringing: pots, plates, and cutlery; coffee/tea; cups; kitchen utensils, etc. At the Pod, you can rent a small boat. There’s plenty to do here in terms of sports: canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, and windsurfing. You really shouldn’t miss a beautiful bike ride through the area. You can pitch a tent on one of the tent fields (camping rate). Shower tokens are available at the front desk.

Welcome to the campground in Giethoorn, the “Green Venice.” Canals, lakes, little bridges, thatched-roof farmhouses, and beautiful gardens define the village landscape of Giethoorn. Nestled in the heart of this unique setting is Camping d’Hof, bordering Lake Bovenwiede and Weerribben-Wieden National Park. Active recreation in a natural setting for young and old alike. There are many biking and hiking trails, as well as boating and canoeing routes to explore the area. Swimming, fishing, as well as windsurfing, stand-up paddleboarding, and sailing are all available at this campground. From the campground, you can walk right along the village canal to the many restaurants, museums, and shops. The area surrounding Giethoorn is also special and definitely worth exploring. The campground is not accessible by car (due to small bridges). Parking: Take the exit for the village center—Bartuswarnersweg—and follow the signs to Camping d’Hof—parking lots P3 or P2. Luggage carts are available at the campground.
