FLOATING 44s are the most navigable variants of the FLOATING HOUSES and invite you to spend relaxing vacation days on the "North Sea" near Xanten: The FLOATING 44 are moored houseboats and therefore an ideal domicile for all those who love the special atmosphere on the water ... and still want to stay on land. Living area approx. 44 sqm, usable area approx. 65 sqm furnished terrace at the bow 15 sqm + additional roof terrace 25 sqm, length approx. 13.50 m; width approx. 6.00 m The FLOATING 44 are designed and furnished in a modern nautical style. They have a spacious living area with an integrated, well-equipped kitchenette and direct access to the 15 m² terrace at the bow, as well as two bedrooms. The bathroom with shower and a WC with washbasin are each arranged separately. The FLOATINGs have air conditioning with integrated hot-air heating. Generous window fronts provide a view of the surrounding water surfaces. The windows are fitted with pleated blinds to provide privacy.
Nature and surroundings
The FLOATING 44 is idyllically situated on the North Lake near Xanten in the middle of a green lake landscape. The North and South Lakes are two interconnected leisure lakes, and there is a wide range of activities for every taste around the lakes. The FLOATING are located on their own jetty in front of the small village of Vynen. The lake landscape in the immediate vicinity of the Rhine offers you pure relaxation and many leisure activities related to water sports: lido with sandy beach, water ski course, boat hire, sailing school, raft trips and much more. Don't miss the impressive reconstruction of the Roman city with harbour temple and amphitheatre. The Lower Rhine offers you a wide and well-developed network of cycle paths. Cycle along the "RheinRadWeg" with a view of the Rhine and its shipping, use the ferries, some of which are still in their original state, to cross from one bank to the other.
