A semi-detached vacation home with a private entrance and plenty of privacy. It boasts a beautiful location at the top of a hill with stunning views of meadows and vast forests. It is a brand-new apartment, completed in 2022 and fully equipped with all modern amenities. On the south side, French doors open onto a large, completely secluded veranda with a fantastic view. There is a campfire area in the garden, situated against a rock. See the relevant photo. A grill/barbecue is also available here. The lot covers approximately 8,000 m². There are lounge chairs and hammocks available. Wake up in the morning to the sound of birds singing or the calls of cranes. From the veranda, you can often spot deer, foxes, and sometimes even moose. The house is surrounded by large, expansive forests. It’s located in a peaceful and quiet spot. There’s no street traffic noise. You’ll hear the wind, the birds, and the bees. Mosquitoes? Fortunately, we’ve never had any trouble with mosquitoes on our property.
Nature and surroundings
There are plenty of opportunities for forest hikes everywhere. Boda Beach is a 15-minute walk from Lake Värmeln. There, you can enjoy swimming, fishing, and boating. Our rowboat is available for use there. Nearby is the Glaskogen Nature Reserve, which is situated on a large, elongated lake called “Glafsjord.” In the nearby town of Klässbol, there’s a small supermarket. Across from it is a good pizzeria, and 700 meters further on is a café-restaurant called “Kvarnen.” You can enjoy a rägsmörgas (shrimp sandwich) at Annelie & Cattis in Värmskog, which is well-known far and wide. In Arvika, about a half-hour drive away, you’ll find four supermarkets, including a Lidl. The town center is across from the train station, where you’ll find two great coffee shops. Arvika has several good restaurants. In Nysäter, you’ll find the Viking Museum. In Ed, there’s a moose park. Check the tourist information guide, which is available in the house, for many more sights and adventures. Some Swedish words: Hej—hello—Hejda—goodbye—Tack—thank you—Kaffegrädde—coffee creamer—Ost—cheese.
