On the grounds are two nice hiker's cottages, for rent from April to October. The cottages have an overhang on two sides so that you can still be outside when the weather is not so good. There is electricity in the cottage and for sanitation and dishes you use the nearby sanitary building. The cottage stands on the edge of the site on a private plot of 600m2. So you have plenty of space! The cottage can accommodate up to 6 people. The cottage is insulated, double glazed and simply but cozily furnished. There are four rooms including a dining/living room. There is a basic cooking facility with a two-burner stove, refrigerator and kitchen utensils. At the cottage you have two hammocks and a large picnic bench. BBQ and fire bowl. You only need to bring a comforter, pillow, towel and your personal belongings.
Nature and surroundings
The grounds are spacious and you can really enjoy peace and nature here. There are never more than fourteen guests staying in the four accommodations on 2.5 acres of land. Spending the night at an alpaca farm is really something else. The property is a small-scale alpaca farm with an average of 25-35 alpacas. The grounds are well maintained and the accommodations are simple but clean and fresh. No heavy machinery is used.The sun houses are surrounded by the pastures where the alpacas graze giving you a nice view of the alpaca herd during your stay. Did you know that Alpacas always give birth between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.? Chances are you can see this from your cottage.There are picnic benches so you can take all the time you need to observe the animals and relax yourself.It is also possible to visit our Alpacas or walk with them under supervision.
