The nature house is located near Vaart in the countryside between Dongen (about 3 km) and Kaatsheuvel (about 4 km). You can stay there with up to 4 people (plus any baby under 2 years).Our stay is completely (house and plot) non-smoking. You have your own entrance, private garden, two bedrooms with both a double box spring (incl bed linen), bathroom with shower and toilet. The accommodation has an open space with TV, dining area, wood stove and kitchenette (with fridge, microwave, separate 2 burner electric hob, Nespresso coffee and kettle). Tea and coffee are freely available. We heat through an air conditioner combined with solar panels and a wood stove. This may give different heat that you are used to at home. In 2021 the former cattle barn has been converted into a guesthouse. In our large garden we hobbyistically keep chickens and ducks and enjoy birds and frogs. If you would like breakfast, please let us know (EUR 15 per night per person, to be paid separately).
Nature and surroundings
Enjoy the freedom yet very central. Oosterhout (10 km), Tilburg (15 km), Breda (20 km) and Den Bosch (30 km) are easy to reach. There is plenty of nature for walking nearby, with the Loonse- and Drunense Dunes, Huis ter Heide in the Moer and the Biesbosch. Of course, a day trip to the Efteling cannot be missed, but also consider Pukkemuk for small children, Experience Island - Bauwe Meer for big 'kids' or zoo the Beekse Bergen. Recreational cycling is easy via the bicycle nodes, more active cycling can be done on the mountain bike routes of the Loonse and Drunenseduinen, city forest 013 or the mountain bike routes around Oosterhout.
