Nature and surroundings

Surrounded by forests, heaths and fens, you walk straight into nature, The Land of De Hilver, full of silence, birds, old farms and villages like Hilvarenbeek and Oirschot. Put on your walking shoes. Or get on your bike. For those who fancy the city: Tilburg and Eindhoven are close by. Or choose an outing to the Efteling, Beekse Bergen or an afternoon on the water at the Reuselhoeve. Nearby you'll also find small museums and local breweries. Tiny house Alba is located at the small-scale park Kempenbos. This is a place without reception or park facilities, where tranquility and nature prevail. From the parking lot you walk along a car-free path past a wild mix of cottages; each unique, big, small, and with their own story. Yet you don't have to miss a thing. Right next to the park is Summio Parc Duc de Brabant. Here you will find a park store for fresh sandwiches, a restaurant, and from May to September, a lovely outdoor pool which you as our guest may use for free.

I enjoyed it it was top notch!

    Nature, peace & environment: 4 /5

It was a very nice, fine, cozy cottage and came to rest! It was neat and clean and toilet paper, shampoo, a foyn, chips, two cans of drink, coffee , tea was all already there:) also plenty of games and books!can't really say anything about that was really top! The bed is also very nice :) Only thing that might come in handy is a small microwave so you can put in a pizza or bake sandwiches but that is really the only "minus" point! I have enjoyed and would so go back!

I gave Julia some tips for the Tiny house, which was fine by the way. A microwave oven is really missed. Since you are alone, two at the most, you are not going to cook elaborate meals. In that case, a microwave is desirable anyway. The cottage lacks a pair of good beer glasses for specialty beer. I tipped Julia to talk to Brewery De Roos in Hilvarenbeek for cooperation. A shelf in the bathroom for clean towels is also missed.

It was a very quiet area, the only thing that passed by with any regularity were walkers who looked in for a moment and walked on again. It was not crowded at Kempenbos.

Nice, such a Tiny house! Everything in order, quiet neighbors (because: no one home). TV was disturbed but wifi via laptop and then with HDMI to TV worked fine and then you see everything. Nice vacation park. Only inconvenient that we had not received an email with access code from nature house, fortunately Marloes was immediately accessible. Thanks, Marloes!

    Nature, peace & environment: 4 /5

Beautiful Brabant landscape, unfortunately very land consolidation here and there (huge patches of grass, slurry barrels) but further south already really restoring the old wet moors. And the cozy villages! Enjoyed cycling and walking.
