Tiny house in a lovely garden with fruit trees and flower meadow, close to 's-Hertogenbosch, as an ideal start for a walk or bike ride in the wooded area or a day exploring the inner city of burgundy Den Bosch. There is opportunity for outdoor cooking on campfire with dutch oven or witches kettle. Who wants to enjoy extra can use the wood-fired Jacuzzi with bubbles under the stars (If available extra to book for 45 euros per day) On our yard are 2 cottages each with a 2-bed on the ground floor and 2 x 1-bed on the 1st floor. The shower and toilet facilities are in an adjacent outbuilding. The cottages include a sandwich iron, kettle, fridge and bed linen (towels can be added for 5 euros per person). Our chickens and cats walk freely over the yard and provide a cheerful atmosphere. In a common conservatory is a stove with pans. In summer herbs from the kitchen garden are available.

Nature and surroundings

Our yard borders Estate de Wamberg, with castle and ponds, exotic trees and rhododendrons and woodpeckers, badgers and deer. The Aa valley and moorland areas such as the Hooghei, Engelenstede and Eikenburg are within walking distance. Other nearby historic places are Heeswijk Castle and Maurick Castle in Vught. In addition, Den Bosch with its St. John's Cathedral and canal cruise on the Binnendieze is definitely worth a visit to taste the real Bossche bol. Easily within cycling distance and if desired, we have city bikes for rent (7.50 per bike per day). A few km away are several supermarkets and eateries to find in Rosmalen and Berlicum. We are accessible by public transport via train station Rosmalen (3 km) and bus stop in Berlicum (1.5 km).

We were with our 2 daughters (11,14). Had a great time. The cats, chickens, campfire and hot tub made us have a very relaxing few days. And the relaxed reception and hospitality of Eric and Anke make t also a pleasant stay. Beautiful walks id neighborhood and fresh eggs from the chickens for breakfast. We will definitely come back. And especially nice that you have shower and toilet in a separate building. Kind of luxury camping!

    Had a wonderful stay!

My son and I stayed in cottage Buzzard for 2 nights. The cottage met all expectations. The beds were fine.I was there with my son for walks and a day trip to Den Bosch. The cottage is in a very quiet area and from the bed downstairs you look out over the meadows behind the cottage. In the yard there are some chickens and a cat.The first evening we used the 2 burner gas stove outside to cook.Shower and toilet are fine.Simple, clean. Simple, clean. The area is beautiful and if you want to shop, Den Bosch is close (15 min by car) We have not used the hot tub or bbq, so I can not say anything about that. I can recommend the cottage if you are looking for a nice, simple place to stay overnight and do not mind having to go outside for the plumbing and cooking and share it with any other guests.

It was primitive, but we liked that very much. The hot tub was very nice, it also stood with a nice view over meadows. There was a second cottage next to our house, which was also booked. We did not expect that. However, we were not bothered by that and the environment was fine. Eric and Anke were super sweet and were really there for us. It was also nice that there were so many animals (chickens, dog and cats) on the property. We really enjoyed ourselves!
