Our farmhouse is a national monument from 1832 located in the south on the village canal of authentic Giethoorn. In 2022 we modernized the farm and converted the former barn into a guesthouse. The cozy guesthouse has its own entrance, a spacious living room, a complete kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. On the open floor (loft) a sleeping space has been created for two persons. Our nature house is only accessible via a hiking-biking path or by boat and is about a 2.5-minute walk from the parking lot. Between the parking lot and the nature house there is one characteristic bridge. Therefore, it may be less suitable for people with mobility problems. At the parking facility you can charge electrically. The kitchen is fully equipped. All kinds of cooking / kitchen utensils are provided. Beds are made. Towels are provided. There is a boarding point by the water for sup/canoe/kayak. Private garden is fenced off for small children.

After having a delicious breakfast in the garden, you will explore Giethoorn. The best way to do this is on the water. It was a wonderful vacation that we would repeat at any time. The hosts are very nice and surprised us with cake and flowers, as well as being available to give us tips for excursions. The house is very practical, inviting and stylishly furnished down to the last detail. The location in the village, but still on the outskirts, is perfect for excursions and walks through Giethoorn. With the great weather, we also spent a lot of time in the garden, eating there and watching the hustle and bustle.
