Our farm is a national monument from 1832 located in the southern part of Giethoorn on the village canal. In 2022 we modernized the farm and converted the former barn into a guesthouse. The cozy guesthouse has its own entrance, a spacious living room, a complete kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. On the open floor (loft) a sleeping space has been created for two persons. Our nature house is only accessible via a hiking-biking path or by boat and is about a 2.5-minute walk from the parking lot. Between the parking lot and the nature house there is one characteristic bridge. Therefore, it may be less suitable for people with mobility problems. You can also charge electricity at the parking facility. The kitchen is fully equipped. All kinds of cooking / kitchen utensils are provided. Beds are made. Towels are provided. There is a boarding point by the water for sup/canoe/kayak. Garden is fenced off for small children.
Nature and surroundings
The best way to explore the beautiful surroundings is by whisper boat, which can be rented a short distance away. Within a few minutes you will find yourself in the middle of nature. There is plenty of fishing in the area. Nice to walk into the meadows and if you look around carefully, you will often see deer. Will you stay a little longer in the region? We really felt a true sense of hospitality due to the small details- like the cake that was waiting for us on arrival, a welcome note with flowers, lots of towels, comfortable beds and a fully stocked kitchen with all necessary pans and utensils.

We had an amazing time at this bed and breakfast. You can tell the owners put a lot of care into making the house nice. The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. I also liked that the house was at the beginning of the touristic area too, so the atmosphere was quieter and less busy.
