Our farmhouse is a nationally designated historic monument dating from 1832, located on the southern side of the village canal in the authentic village of Giethoorn. In 2022, we modernized the farmhouse and converted the former barn into a guesthouse. This charming guesthouse features a private entrance, a spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom, and a bathroom. On the open-concept loft, there is sleeping space for two people. Our nature house is accessible only via a walking and biking path or by boat and is about a 2.5-minute walk from the parking area. There is one distinctive bridge between the parking lot and the nature house. For this reason, it may be less suitable for people with limited mobility. Electric vehicle charging is available at the parking lot. The kitchen is fully equipped. All kinds of cooking and kitchen supplies are provided. The beds are made. Towels are provided. There is a launch site by the water for SUP, canoe, and kayak. The private garden is fenced off for small children.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage, which is very clean and well-maintained. It was perfect for us because the boys could go fishing right outside the front door, and the owners are also really nice. The restaurants were just a short walk away.
