Nature house in Boekel

In addition to the description of the house and garden and all they have to offer (especially when the weather isn’t quite cooperating), the surrounding area is also really nice. Charming little towns, great restaurants, and major cities (with museums) nearby. We didn’t go biking, but that’s definitely worth doing, too. The house and garden were enough for us in terms of activities, so we didn’t look into anything else, and the following question therefore doesn’t apply to us.

Behalve de beschrijving van het huis en tuin met alle mogelijkheden (zeker ook als het weer niet helemaal meezit) is ook de omgeving heel leuk. Leuke plaatsjes, goede horeca, grote steden (musea) in de buurt. Wij hebben niet gefietst, maar dat is dat zeker ook de moeite waard. Voor activiteiten hadden we genoeg aan het huis en tuin, dus daar hebben we verder niet naar gekeken en de volgende vraag is voor ons dan ook niet van toepassing.

I can’t say anything other than: amazing!!! First of all, the warm welcome from the hostess, with all kinds of treats as a surprise on the big round table!
The beautiful house was spotless and decorated with great taste. The beds were wonderfully made, and the showers were fantastic.
Plus, everything you could possibly think of (and more) was there: from kitchenware to all kinds of games (for indoors and outdoors), books, and magazines.
A beautifully landscaped and well-maintained garden—so big that you can even play soccer (with goals) and volleyball (with a net)! And there’s even a petanque court!
Two large televisions, so the younger ones could play video games in the kitchen-diner and the older ones watched a movie in the cozy living room.
All in all, nothing but praise!
Although we go to a different place every fall break, we might just come back here again!!!

Ik kan niet anders zeggen dan: top!!! Allereerst het warme welkom door de gastvrouw, met als verrassing allerlei lekkers op de grote ronde tafel!
Het mooie huis was superschoon en heel smaakvol ingericht. Heerlijke (opgemaakte) bedden en de douches waren top.
Verder was alles wat je maar kon bedenken (en meer) aanwezig: van keukengerei tot alle spelmateriaal (voor binnen en buiten), boeken en tijdschriften.
Een mooi aangelegde en verzorgde tuin, zó groot dat er ook gevoetbald (doelen) en gevolleybald (net) kan worden! En ook nog een petanque baan!
Twee grote televisies, zodat er in de woonkeuken gegamed kon worden door de jongeren en de ouderen een film konden kijken in de cosy zitkamer.
Al met al alleen maar lof!
Hoewel we iedere herfstvakantie naar een andere plek gaan, kan het zo maar zijn dat we hier nog eens terug komen!!!

Everything's fine, except… there are a lot of mosquitoes in the bedrooms. Maybe put out a bottle of mosquito repellent?

Alles prima, alleen…. heel veel muggen in de slaapkamers. Misschien een flesje muggenspray neerzetten?

Mooi huis, fijne kamers. Alles is aanwezig!

The perfect cottage for our group of eight adults and three small children. As soon as we arrived, the kids ran straight out to the garden to play. Even we adults were able to enjoy sitting outside on the covered patio, despite the unpredictable weather.
The beds are comfortable, the bedrooms are beautiful, the bathrooms are lovely, and the kitchen is fantastic!
We’ll definitely be coming back here.

Perfect huisje voor onze groep van acht volwassenen en drie kleine kinderen. De kinderen verdwenen bij aankomst direct in de tuin om te spelen. Ook wij als volwassenen konden ondanks het wisselvallige weer lekker buiten op het overdekte terras zitten.
De bedden zijn lekker, mooie slaapkamers, fijne badkamers en een geweldige keuken!
Wij gaan hier zeker terugkomen.

Beautiful rural setting with lovely forests nearby. Since the house is located on a road in a farming area, you can’t avoid the occasional car or tractor passing by, but we didn’t find that bothersome.

Mooie landelijke omgeving met leuke bossen in de buurt. Omdat het huis aan een weg in een landbouwgebied ligt, ontkom je er niet aan dat er af en toe een auto of tractor langskomt, maar wij vonden dat niet hinderlijk.
