The back house has its own entrance and has a spacious downstairs that is equipped with simple but neat, clean and comfortable things and facilities. Downstairs is the living room cum dining area, a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and electric stove with oven. Also downstairs is the shower room and toilet. The upstairs area is a loft where there is a double bed, a closet and clothes rack. Bed linen, towels and kitchen utensils are provided. Use of the garden is possible. There is no TV available. Parking is available in the driveway next to the space to be rented. The space is rented for at least two nights and the price is per night for 1 or a maximum of 2 people; in consultation it may be possible to arrange for an extra person (e.g. baby). The price will be adjusted accordingly. Any pets first in consultation. Smoking inside is NOT allowed; there is a covered area outside where you can smoke. The cleaning costs are paid cash on departure.

The nature house is rural and the Mantingerzand nature reserve is already about 1 km away. Furthermore, there are several bicycle routes starting directly from the location. The 'museum' village of Orvelte is about 6 km away and Veenhuizen, the former penal colony on Unesco heritage list, can be reached by car in 35 minutes. The garden is teeming with life especially all kinds of birds, the hedgehog and squirrel pass by and the necessary birds of prey can be seen. With any luck, deer can also be regularly admired. There is agriculture, livestock and nature which alternates nicely with diverse flora of trees, heath and fens. All in all, the nature lover can have a great time here with walks, bike rides and outings in the area. But also just enjoying a book in the garden is a nice way to spend the day.
