Nature house in Holten

Cottage and surroundings is beautiful. Unfortunately, the hygiene is the cottage was not as expected. Also, the Jazuzzi did not work properly. It looked more like a hot bath since the Jets did virtually nothing. After stating the above, we were told that the Jacuzzi worked just fine ... Regarding the hygiene complaints, we received (after asking) a free upgrade for a late checkout (1pm instead of 10am). On our last day we looked at the other cottage with Jacuzzi, and there the Jacuzzi worked a lot better. We were very sad about this because the Jacuzzi was one of the biggest reasons to book this cottage. Unfortunately the reception is closed on Sundays so we were not able to report this in person. A compensation would have been in order. Absolutely not worth the 500 euros for 2 nights!!!

Huisje en omgeving is prachtig. Helaas was de hygiëne is het huisje niet naar verwachting. Tevens werkte de Jazuzzi niet naar behoren. Het leek eerder op een warm bad aangezien de Jets nagenoeg niks deden. Na bovenstaande aangegeven te hebben werd ons verteld dat de Jacuzzi gewoon prima werkte... Vwb de hygiëne klachten kregen we (na zelf gevraagd te hebben) een gratis upgrade voor een late checkout (13u ipv 10u). Op onze laatste dag keken we bij het andere huisje met Jacuzzi, en daar deed de jacuzzi het een heel stuk beter. Hier baalden wij enorm van omdat de Jacuzzi een van de grootste redenen was om dit huisje te boeken. Helaas is de receptie op zondag gesloten waardoor we dit niet meer persoonlijk hebben kunnen aangeven. Een compensatie was op zijn plaats geweest. Absoluut de 500 euro voor 2 nachten niet waard!!

Environment was beautiful! The park is located right next to the A1 and that is good to hear. But nevertheless it is a beautiful location.

Omgeving was prachtig! Het park ligt wel pal naast de A1 en dat is goed te horen. Maar desondanks is het een prachtige locatie.

The cottage is as beautiful as in the picture, very idyllic and cozy and we had a super nice time. The jacuzzi is really recommended, it is always at temperature so you dive right in. The cottage includes a small kitchen which is perfect, 2 nice chairs and a dining area. The bathroom is cramped, the sink is also a bit small and everything gets wet when you shower. The shower in itself is good, has a hand shower and a rain shower. The bedroom is spacious and fresh. I found the beds disappointing in terms of comfort compared to the rest of the luxury cottage. Also the large garden is super, you have 2 nice chairs on the porch and a picnic table. We had the dog with us. Unfortunately the garden is not fenced so you have to take that into account. It would be nice if mosquito nets are placed in the cottage because there were a lot of mosquitoes.

Het huisje is net zo mooi als op de foto, heel idyllisch en knus en we hebben er een super fijne tijd gehad. De jacuzzi is echt een aanrader, hij is altijd op temperatuur dus je duikt er zo in. Het huisje bevat een kleine keuken die perfect is, 2 fijne stoelen en een eethoekje. De badkamer is krap, de wastafel is ook wat klein en alles wordt nat als je doucht. De douche op zich is goed, heeft een handdouche en een regendouche. De slaapkamer is ruim en fris. De bedden vond ik qua comfort tegenvallen in verhouding tot de rest van het luxe huisje. Ook de grote tuin is super, je hebt 2 lekkere stoelen op de veranda en een picknicktafel. Wij hadden de hond mee. De tuin is helaas niet omheind dus daar moet je rekening mee houden. Het zou fijn zijn als er horren geplaatst worden in het huisje, want er waren veel muggen.

The cottage is in a park, in a quiet place. You overlook the path, but only very occasionally people pass by. The cottage is surrounded by trees, which makes you feel like you are in the middle of the forest. Behind the trees, behind the cottage, is a quiet road. You can hear a car now and then. Near the cottage you will find the Sallandse Heuvelrug and the Holterberg, where you can enjoy hiking or biking.

Het huisje staat op een park, op een rustige plek. Je kijkt uit op het pad, maar er komen slechts heel af en toe mensen voorbij. Het huisje is omringd door bomen, wat maakt dat je midden in het bos staat voor je gevoel. Achter de bomen, achter het huisje, loopt een rustige weg. Je hoort af en toe een auto. In de buurt van het huisje vind je de Sallandse Heuvelrug en de Holterberg, waar je heerlijk kunt wandelen of fietsen.
