Hidden in a private forest, our nature house is within walking distance of several natural areas. A wonderful place to unwind alone or together and enjoy each other and nature. The cottage is surrounded by a spacious garden full of birds and squirrels and the occasional deer come carefully to take a look. Inside, the use of natural materials and large windows keep you connected to the forest while the fireplace burns and you play games together. You enter the house through a small hall, where you can store your shoes and coats. The large open kitchen then welcomes you, equipped with many conveniences, such as a large refrigerator, oven, nespresso machine, etc. You can sit right here at the dining table. Following on from the kitchen is the living room, with a lovely large sofa and a second dining table. There are 2 bedrooms with a total of 4 beds (1 bunk bed and 1 double bed), where you will be woken up in the morning by singing birds.
Nature and surroundings
Nature begins immediately when you step out of the house. For around the house is a spacious garden full of birds and squirrels. Via the sandy forest path you are within 5 minutes walking in the Junner Koeland nature reserve. The Junner Koeland is a unique piece of nature in the already special Vechtdal. It lies between the hamlets of Arriën, Junne and Stegeren. In former times the area belonged to the cows from Junne, who grazed there. Nowadays it is a nature reserve of Staatsbosbeheer, with an area of about 100 hectares. However, there is much more nature to experience in the area, such as the Sallandse Heuvelrug and the Lemelerberg. In Ommen you can enjoy a drink after a day in nature, and if you are looking for culture or extensive shopping, you can of course do so in Zwolle.
