This cottage 2 to 4 person vacation home. Beautifully hidden in the green. In the woods near Holten a few km away from the Holterberg ( part of the national park, the Sallands Heuvelrug ) The house is surrounded by a beautiful woodland garden. On a total area of 1400m2 own land. It stands in a recreation area with about 500 other private vacation homes. Everything is spacious. It is not a vacation park. You have a lot of privacy here. The house is ground floor, barrier-free and fully equipped with underfloor heating. It is an ideal house for both summer and winter. It has a large terrace and around the house also many seating options. 2 bedrooms with box springs. The beds are made for you. This house may be used by a maximum of 4 people. Bert April 26, 2025 General rating:I think we have never rented such a beautiful cottage. Spacious and tastefully decorated. Everything is there, for inside and outside. Feel space (and peace) around the house. The reception was very sweet and also delicious with coffee and cakes, wine and flowers. A topper, and we have already booked again for next time.
Ik denk dat we nog nooit zo’n mooi huisje hebben gehuurd. Ruim en sfeervol ingericht. Alles is aanwezig, voor binnen en buiten. Feel ruimte (en rust) rondom het huis. De ontvangst was heel lief en ook lekker met koffie en gebak, wijn en bloemen. Een topper, en we hebben al weer geboekt voor de volgende keer.
Nature, peace & environment:The Borkehof is beautifully and quietly located in green surroundings. A spacious plot, with a large garden so, with lots of greenery. It was enjoying the birds and their singing and the industriousness of the squirrels.
