The house is located directly on the inland port and was completely refurbished in 2022, renovated to a high standard and lovingly and stylishly furnished. Water sports are possible directly in front of the door, two kayaks and two SUPs are available free of charge. There is a yoga room on the 2nd floor, which can be booked for an extra charge (also for small yoga or meditation retreats). There are 2 bedrooms on the second floor with a spacious bathroom with shower bath, downstairs there is a very comfortable pull-out sofa bed in the living room/dining room area. Also on the second floor is the kitchen and a shower room/guest bathroom. The first floor has underfloor heating, the Dutch tiles are from the 18th century. The vacation apartment resort also includes two loft apartments - bookable with up to 3 people max. Nature and surroundings
Friedrichstadt, also known as "Little Amsterdam", is a water and nature paradise. The canals and Treene right on the doorstep offer many water sports opportunities, as well as wonderful walks directly in nature by the water. Friedrichstadt is never overcrowded, even in the high season. The peace and tranquillity that prevails here and, above all, the Dutch influence that can be found in the listed facades of the houses is unique. Friedrichstadt is a town of freethinkers - as small as the town is, so many different religions can be found here. Small stores and restaurants right on the canal give you that vacation feeling. Directly in front of the house is a jetty that belongs to the house - at some point it will have to be renovated, but it's enough for two cushions, sundowners or coffee cups, and all without much effort - right on the doorstep! The train is in the immediate vicinity, so you can leave the car behind.
