Welcome to our nature house! Relax in this beautiful place in the middle of nature. Around water. In a new cottage fully equipped, with a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room, a lovely sofa, cushions and sundresses and large dining table, a large smart TV with Netflix, a good WiFi connection, a shower room with rain shower and sink and a separate toilet. All furnished with care and love to make you comfortable. Upstairs on the mezzanine, accessible by a fairly steep staircase (unsuitable for the disabled), are two luxury box spring single beds made up for you with luxury comforters. You can use the terrace under the plane trees or create your own seating area in the shady orchard. To relax and enjoy the surrounding moorland nature. You can park on private property and store your bicycles dry and safe in the barn.
Nature and surroundings
Vast low-lying meadows, lots of water, lots of cows and birds, cheese and silver and quaint villages, that's the best way to describe Krimpenerwaard. Easy to explore, on foot, by bicycle, by car and even by canoe via the mapped out canoe routes. The Loetbos and recreation Krimpenerhout are not far from us. Also Kinderdijk with its many windmills and the Reeuwijk lakes are within cycling distance. And how nice is Gouda, with its cheese market every Thursday from April to August. Throughout Krimpenerwaard, you'll find cheese farms and cheese dairies and therefore cozy country shops. Or visit silver town Schoonhoven, the silver museum, the jewelers, and take a city walk through the historic center and finish with a delicious snack overlooking the river Lek. Don't forget the historic witch town of Oudewater, located just outside Krimpenerwaard. Visit the rope museum or get weighed down on the old witches' scales The city of Utrecht and Rotterdam are not far!
