Nature house in Naarden

Just like last year, we had a wonderful stay in this charming cottage.
We slept like babies in the big beds.
The house was neat and clean. Since it’s in a wooded area, little critters might occasionally wander inside—but that’s part of the charm of a nature house.

There’s a good chance we’ll come back again.
Communication with the landlord was friendly.

Net als vorig jaar hebben we een fijn verblijf gehad in dit karakteristieke huis.
Geslapen als een roos in de grote bedden.
Het huis was netjes en schoon. In een bosrijke omgeving kan er weleens wat naar binnen wandelen, daar is het een natuurhuisje voor.

Kans dat we nog eens komen is groot.
Contact met de verhuurder verloopt vriendelijk.

Despite the downpours, we were able to sit outside under the awning regularly and enjoyed the peace and quiet and the birds.
In the bedrooms, we couldn’t hear the rain through the thatched roof, so we slept wonderfully.

We didn’t do any activities near the house, such as hiking, so we can’t comment on that.

Ondanks de stortregens, regelmatig buiten kunnen zitten onder de overkapping en genoten van de rust en de vogels.
Op de slaapkamers hoorden we de regen niet door de rieten kap, dus heerlijk kunnen slapen.

Geen activiteiten in de buurt van huis gedaan zoals wandelen dus daar kunnen we geen oordeel over geven.

We were very pleased with the cottage and the location

We waren erg tevreden over het huisje en de locatie

We had a lovely stay. The cottage met our expectations and was nice and clean.

We hebben een fijne overnachting gehad. Het huisje voldeed aan onze verwachtingen en het was lekker schoon.

Upon arrival, hygiene was sorely lacking; we didn’t dare use the kitchen, and the cottage looked as if the tenant had left abruptly and left everything just as it was.

The beds were good, though!

We made the best of it—the cottage has potential—but overall, it felt like we weren’t taken seriously as tenants. The price is pretty high for what you get.

There were no smoke detectors anywhere, and no fire extinguishers in sight.

Bij aankomst was hygiëne ver te zoeken, keuken durfden we niet te gebruiken, het huisje leek alsof de bewoner zelf abrupt weggegaan is en alles zo heeft achtergelaten.

Bedden waren wel goed!

We hebben er wat van gemaakt, huisje heeft potentie maar het voelde al met al dat je als huurder niet serieus genomen wordt. Best hoge prijs voor wat je krijgt.

Nergens rookmelders en geen brandblusser te bekennen.

Beautiful wooded surroundings, though there are immediate neighbors right next to the cottage, and you regularly hear quite loud airplane noise that can startle you if you’re not used to it. And the neighbors’ sprinklers turn on in the evening right next to the little patio where you’re sitting


And surprisingly few bird sounds—maybe it wasn’t the right time of year for that.

Mooie bosrijke omgeving, wel directe buren naast het huisje, en met regelmaat best hard geluid van een vliegtuig waar je van schrikt als je het niet gewend bent. En de sprinklers van de buren gaan in de avond aan vlak naast het terrasje waar je zit


En verrassend weinig vogelgeluiden het was misschien niet het juiste moment daarvoor.
