This dike winds its way through the West Frisian landscape, separating the old land from the new. Additionally, Callantsoog Beach is just 13 km away, where you’ll also find the Zwanewater; here, you can go for walks and birdwatching. The picturesque villages of Kolhorn, Barsingerhorn, and Nieuwe Sluis are definitely worth a visit. Start your day off right with our delicious organic breakfast box for 25 euros per day. Fun fact: the cottage is located next to a ley line, which is connected to the chapel of silence in Keins. This hamlet is about 5 km further along the West Frisian ring dike, and this energy line is palpable in the cottage and our ecological flower garden. Everything you needed was provided in and around the cottage. As I wrote before, the cottage was top notch! Very cozy, the bed slept great! No TV but plenty of entertainment with stove, games, books and even a chatterbox.
