Relax, slow down, get away from the (city) hustle and bustle. Really take time for yourself, here in the countryside you can. A modern word for this is Slow Living, we call it in West Friesland: Koeterdekoet. From the ret-race to a cozy rural location with panoramic views. Where time stands still for a moment, no connection with wifi, but connection with yourself and/or each other. The cozy space features a sitting area, wood stove and kitchenette with induction stove. There are yoga mats and meditation cushions, books and card decks for a more conscious life. There is a diffuser with essential oils. Furthermore, the shower is equipped with ecological products because of our own ecological water purification. The sleeping area is in the attic, which can be reached by a sturdy staircase. Upstairs are 2 single beds with a thick topper 2-persoons.De wood-fired hot tub is extra to book for € 75 per evening to relax. Also relaxation massages.
Nature and surroundings
Our monumental farm, with behind it the 2 nature houses, is located on the Westfriese Omringdijk. This dike winds through the West Frisian landscape, separating the old land from the new land. From the nature house you can enjoy walking, cycling and enjoying nature. Especially the wide views and beautiful sunsets. Furthermore, the beach Callantsoog is 13 km away, where there is also the Zwanewater, here you can walk and spot birds. The picturesque villages Kolhorn, Barsingerhorn and Nieuwe Sluis are definitely worth a visit. For shopping you can go to Schagen, Nieuwe Niedorp, Alkmaar and Hoorn.The cottage is located on a Leylijn, which is connected to the silence chapel in Keins. This hamlet lies about 5 km further on the Westfriese omringdijk and this energy line can be felt in the cottage and our ecological flower garden.
